moving back to portland!

yep, Sam got a great job with an engineering consulting firm involved in green building projects! we are happily spending the holiday season packing our house in Corvallis, preparing to move into a super cool pad in the St Johns neighborhood in north Portland. This hood is close to several parks, lakes, a swimming pool, a cute downtown and many other highlights. It's not as developed as other neighborhoods in Portland, so it's a nice transition from the small college town we have been living in the past 2 years into city life. But the hood has an organic coffee shop, a good Thai restaurant, two theaters, a few pubs, a Mexican grocery store, and a vegan cafe just to name a few. Sam's office is in downtown Portland, a nice bike commute away. plus, when you drive into town to see us you get to travel over this cool bridge....
